I am 40 years old. I was born in Ramsgate, England and have lived in Israel since 1978. I have been married to my long-suffering wife, Miri for 13 years, and we have 2 children, Shiri, aged 9 and Uri, aged 5.

I have worked in journalism, as a sports editor and later news layout editor at the Jerusalem Post, and as a computer systems manager both at the Post, and at a hi-tech company called Millimetrix.

I left Millimetrix a couple of years ago to concentrate on writing my doctorate in ancient Indian linguistics, the title of which is The Imperative in the Rigveda. I have recently finished it.

My other interests include electronic music, TV science fiction, and of course, my Type 34.
