In November of 2007 I sold the Type 34 and bought a 1966 Triumph Herald. Although it was in better condition that the Type 34 was when I bought it - it had been fully roadworthy just a couple of weeks before I bought it - it still needed quite a bit of work.
For the first few months after I bought it I did some work on it myself - mostly wiring and engine work - and then I sent it off for a full restoration; first bodywork and then upholstery.
